Hi. I’m Mark D. Hines. I used to have a “good” job managing institutional investment portfolios—overseeing billions. I enjoyed the analytical work and many of the people, but I couldn’t stand the corporate politics of working for a large organization. I wanted more control over my work and my time.
So I saved up some cash, resigned, and set out to make a living writing about my professional expertise online.
